The 44th Annual Los Angeles Korean Festival celebrates Korean culture, as well as the vibrant Korean-American community in the city.
This festival featured Korean food, music, and style to celebrate the rich history of LA’s Koreatown. The event, like the district itself, really captured a piece of Korean culture as well as the essence of Korean-American life. Even with a diverse crowd, you could still find ajhummas bargaining for groceries at the farmer’s market. Hallyu outlets and trendy mason-jar boba stands were accompanied by samples of various kimchi and elegant hanboks. Cultural heritage and exchange like this makes me love this city more and more.
XOXO, Seoulmate ♥
